Warm up your thermos or travel mug by rinsing it with hot water and then pouring your beverage. This will keep your beverage warm longer. Use cold water for cold beverages.
The inside of your thermos or travel mug is probably cold in the morning if you run hot tap water through it, it’ll warm the inside and your beverage will stay warm longer.
Basically reduce heat transfer to/from your beverage by using hot/cold water instead.
It helps on that, but just a little bit, try to have a better insulation with good heat retention thermos mug or bottles that could save this work every time you use it.
- bigger capacity
- better design cap or even have a vacuum insulated cap design
- good quality on manufacturing
